We are excited to announce that Restoring Dignity and The Furniture Project have joined forces to launch and manage Omaha’s first Furniture Bank! We recently acquired an 18,000 square foot warehouse at 10808 J Street, which will allow both organizations to expand their current operations.

Restoring Dignity will continue to collect and provide refugee families with household items and furniture, which is especially important to support incoming families from Afghanistan, in addition to other countries.

This is an incredibly positive step forward for both organizations and we are committed to working together to create a dynamic furniture bank for Omaha. We are tremendously thankful for the support of local philanthropy, for providing the financial support to get this Furniture Bank started!

Drop-offs without an appointment are allowed, if needed. However, we do prefer that 5 minute drop off appointments are made.

Donation drop-off hours:

Mondays: 10:00am to 3:00pm

Tuesdays: 9:00am to 7:30pm

Wednesdays: 10:00am to 3:00pm

Thursdays: 10:00am to 3:00pm

Fridays: 10:00am to 3:00pm

Saturdays: 10:00am to 1:00pm

Please DO NOT leave items outside of our facility, as they are likely to be stolen or destroyed by weather. 

We are NOT able to accept clothes.
